Coaching, Therapy or Mentoring? What's the Difference?

One of the questions I'm asked most often is:
"How is coaching different from therapy or mentoring?"
They're all valuable, but they each have a different purpose.
Therapy often looks to the past. It helps people understand, process and heal from difficult experiences.
Mentoring is about sharing knowledge and experience. A mentor has usually walked the path before you and offers guidance based on what they've learned.
Coaching is different.
It's not about giving advice or fixing problems.
It's about creating the space to think more clearly, ask better questions and discover your own answers.
As a coach, I'm not here to tell you what to do.
I'm here to help you reconnect with what matters, challenge the beliefs that may be holding you back and support you in taking meaningful action.
Whether you're considering a career change, looking for more purpose, building confidence or simply feeling a little stuck, coaching is about helping you move forward with intention.
Because life isn't a rehearsal.
If you're curious about coaching and wondering whether it's right for you, I'd be happy to have a conversation.
